ALONSO OUT OF BAHRAIN GP

21:55, Thursday, 31st March, 2016

Fernando Alonso will not take part in the Bahrain GP following his crash in Australia. He will be replaced by McLaren's Belgian reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne.

Alonso suffered fractured ribs during his horrific high speed crash in Melbourne two weeks ago. The FIA has passed him unfit to participate in this weekend's race at the Sakhir circuit.

It is unclear at this time, if Fernando will be ready for the Chinese Grand Prix in mid May.

This means, for the Bahrain GP, if you had Alonso in your line-up, you will now have Vandoorne instead.

Get well soon Fernando!

Thanks

-Dan
